Dear Dutch citizens,
It is nearly that time of the month again. The first presidential elections are coming up and - because of the fact we are standing at the beginning of a new server - we will need to build up a new country. Therefore we will need a stable and innovative Cabinet that is willing to work hard to succeed and to lay a foundation whereon the Netherlands can grow further in the 5 months after this term.
As a 8 term President and 12 term Congresswoman of the Netherlands on Primera and a 4 term Congresswoman and 2 term President of the United States on the America server, it is our opinion that
President of the Netherlands:
The President is the elected head of state and head of government of the Netherlands. The president leads the Cabinet and is the commander-in-chief of the Dutch Armed Forces. The president writes the cabinets policy and makes sure that the secretaries will work by this policy. Also the President is one of the first contact persons together with the Secretary of State when it concerns foreign affairs.
Vice-President of the Netherlands:
The Vice-President is the most important advisor to the President. He/she will also take over the presidency in case of absence of the President. Also he will be a great help by maintaining diplomatic relations.
Secretary of the Interior:
The Secretary of the Interior will deal with the financial and economic condition of the country. This enholds in maintaining the operation of the Org but also the maintenance of the military unit and taxes. Keeping in touch with the citizens is very important to us, therefore, there will be held weekly open meetings, where every citizen is able to join in.
Secretary of State:
The Secretary of State will deal with the diplomatic development of the country. He/she will maintain the relations with neighboring countries, an will advice the President in joining alliances and/or coalitions.
Secretary of Defense:
The Secretary of Defense will deal with the orders of the national forces, joining alliances and/or coalitions and the role of the Netherlands in this. He/she will conduct to the right strategy to use the armed forces in battle.
Economy
In the area of economic development, we will ensure that there will be more currency NLD and gold on the market for a decent price. Also placing products and goods will be a priority to help the economy going. The introduction of new taxes will improve this, the current government plan sets these taxes at 3% import tax, 5% VAT and 10% income tax. These law proposals will be directly submitted to Congress at the moment of appointment.
The basis of a good economy is obviously having activity in the country. Therefore, we will try to attract companies from the Org to our own country, where Dutch citizens are able to work for Dutch companies.
There will also be set up a 'donation plan' that will help the military unit with supporting the daily needs to run it. Don't worry, this will only mean that the state will use the money in a decent way, we will not ask you for donations! Of course, voluntary donations are not prohibited and it is only appreciated!
Foreign affairs and Defense
Brotherhoods in e-sim are of course an important aspect. Since we are a small country on the map - and must be careful - we will search for reliable partners. Joining an alliance or coalition is not a priority on the government's plan. Having several good diplomatic agreements in a startup situation is in our opinion better than to contribute to a coalition or alliance feud. We must ensure that we as the Netherlands remain on the map, and not as part of it another country.
Furthermore,in this diplomatic agreements we will also emphasize economic aspects in addition to military aspects. So that we are able to offer scarce available products on the Dutch market.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
